VIA NULLO RESIDENCES
Residential complex and offices
The project envisages the transformation of the former ENEL site located along Via Nullo, via Diaz and Via Mazzini, in Bergamo, in order to create a new luxury residential complex: four new buildings, integrated with the historic ones of greater importance and value, which are restored and renewed. The new volumes are distributed around an open inner space, thought as a “ split courtyard “, partly organized as garden, partly paved. The front of the historic building along Via Mazzini, designed by the architect Bergonzo, is connected with that of a new building, defining the new urban backdrop. The project has a strong innovative profile, both in engineering solutions, marked by the use of renewable sources (solar and district heating from incinerator), and in passive solutions defining the performance of the buildings, for instance in the high levels of external insulation. The apartments will also offer home automation for the management of the systems in each unit (lighting, dimming systems, video), as well condominium systems for remote communications. The overall built surface is about 27.000 square meters above ground and the underground parking totals about16.600 square meters.
