ONGOING

RESTYLING STADIO S. PAOLO - MARADONA

Integrated engineering for the redevelopment of Naples's historic stadium, ahead of UEFA Euro 2032

The redevelopment of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium (formerly Stadio San Paolo), Naples's home ground since 1959 in the Fuorigrotta district, is led by GAU Arena. Commissioned by SSC Napoli to reimagine the venue ahead of UEFA Euro 2032, the project removes the stadium's athletics track to bring the stands directly to the edge of the pitch, and introduces a museum dedicated to the club's history alongside new restaurants and hospitality spaces — turning the stadium into a destination usable seven days a week, not only on matchdays. The work is designed to proceed without relocating the team, keeping Napoli at Fuorigrotta throughout construction.
