MARRIOTT HOTEL LECCO
Redevelopment of the former Banca di Lecco building into a 4* hotel
In the heart of Lecco, overlooking Piazza Garibaldi, the new hotel takes shape through the transformation of the former headquarters of Banca Popolare di Lecco, later occupied by Deutsche Bank, giving one of the city centre’s most recognisable buildings a new hospitality function.
The redevelopment covers approximately 12,000 sqm and will accommodate a 4-star hotel with 144 rooms, including 15 suites, set to become part of Marriott International’s hospitality network.
The project combines high-end hospitality, comfort and quality of space, with a restaurant, bar, event and conference areas, fitness facilities and a panoramic rooftop terrace with an infinity pool overlooking the lake. Beyond the transformation of the building itself, the scheme also contributes to the regeneration of the surrounding urban fabric, reactivating the connections between Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Affari and bringing new life to a prominent property that has remained unused for several years.
