UNICREDIT PAVILLION

Pavillion for events in Gae Aulenti Square

The UniCredit Pavilion is a multi-purpose space located in the heart of the new Porta Nuova Garibaldi district, designed to host conferences, exhibitions and events. The building is on three levels. The Auditorium, on the ground floor, can accommodate up to 700 people, but, thanks to a flexible concept, it can be divided into several smaller rooms.

From the Auditorium you enter the ‘Passerella dell'Arte’, an exhibition space intended for temporary exhibitions and visual narrative paths. The 'Mini-Tree' nursery nest is located on the second level, while the third level houses the 'Greenhouse', an open-space for meetings and business events.

Designed by the architect Michele De Lucchi, the Pavilion is characterized by a laminated wood structure that defines the envelope and that houses, in addition to the façade system, also the two 'Wings': openable doors 12 meters long, equipped with giant screens to project events outside the Auditorium.

The intervention is based on the utmost attention to the aspects of environmental sustainability and technological innovation, being designed to obtain the LEED Gold certification of excellence.
