Recovery of a large industrial warehouse that is destined to house the new headquarters of the Politecnico di Milano Bovisa.


Total covered area: 12.400 m² composed of 3 floors f.t and a basement


Main destinations:


- classrooms and departmental structures (7 small classrooms: from 16 to 57 seats; 6 middle classrooms: from 105 to 194 seats; 4 large classrooms: from 210 to 284 seats; 4 computerized classrooms);
- library;
- offices;
- underground parking for 100 cars;
- surface parking for 165 cars;


For the plant engineering part, the intervention involved the use of a fan-coil air conditioning system plus primary air for the offices and all-air for the classrooms.


The building is equipped with suspended ceilings and floating floors. Structurally it is essentially composed of the following structural bodies: a continuous body "in line", three towers, two "3-storey" bridges, connecting the towers to the south, three 2-storey bridges, connecting the towers and the building to the north.
