Between 1840 and 1845 His Royal Highness Carlo Alberto of Savoy promoted the edification of a building complex in a vaguely Gothic style, known as “Agenzia di Pollenzo”.

The total land surface of the area is 37.000 m² and includes:

• main building: 9.338m² above ground
• secondary buildings: 2.280 m²

The above mentioned buildings will host the following facilities:

• Bank of wine (2.000 m²)
• Hotel (50 rooms)
• Restaurant (120 seats)
• “Accademia del Gusto” (University of Gastronomic Sciences) (3.000 m²)
• Stock of vintage wines (shop)
• Conference hall (200 people)
• Fitness area
• Open-door swimming pool
• Wharehouse and parking
